She designed the structure keeping sustainability in focus and derived inspiration from ancient building methods of Australian aboriginal people, a simple method of creating shelters by inserting ends of bended tree barks in the ground and stone structures. The concept was to bring these two elements together to make a structure where the buildings are free flowing with lots of openings in walls and ceilings as “to bring the nature in” and then to provide shades through flexible wrapping.
