Seen & Unseen (Still)
When Amanda was younger, she experienced true discomfort in returning to India as she was strongly affected by the beggars on the street. However, Amanda now feels that this early exposure to abject poverty has shaped her identity as an artist. Amanda constantly finds herself revisiting those issues, and attempts to conceptualise a way to allow others to understand what she has witnessed. 'Seen and Unseen' aims to connect real and false memories with a focus on organised begging as one of the most visible forms of human trafficking.
