Although begging is classified as a crime in Mumbai, like many poverty-driven countries, corruption pollutes almost every relation of authority. In this project, Amanda Cooper has attempted to explore more abstract and meaningful juxtapositions of imagery, rather than create an entirely literal portrayal of this issue. This work is designed to communicate this unavoidable experience of Indian culture with a non-linear animation based on personal experience, memory and research.
