Mondrian
This work is inspired by the De Stijl movement and the early paintings of Piet Mondrian who embraced art as pure abstraction by producing a composition of grid-based paintings. In his early paintings, monochrome lines tended to obscure as they approached the edge of the paintings. Inspired by these impressions, figures of horizontal and vertical lines at the stool, created intersected points and implement the composition of positive and negative spaces in-between.
