The title 'kay yaya' is a Tagalog translation of the phrase “for the helper”, which suggests exactly who this project is for and what it is about. 'kay yaya' is a support kit consisting of booklets, among other stationery products, designed to help, educate and support Filipino domestic helpers in regards to a concept that comprises a large part of their work - emotional labour. All components of the kit, including these booklets, are accompanied with Tagalog translated versions.
