Graduate Exhibition

Luke Power is a cross-disciplinary artist working with mediums that explore cultural, environmental and spatial relationships. Luke’s main body of work focuses on the environmental effects on car refuse after a field trip to Central Australia’s APY Lands. The impact on Indigenous communities, the environment, government resources, and remote living are all considered aspects in Luke’s work. He attempts to connect communities across a wide social spectrum, stating that “awareness creates understanding and in turn connects us together just that little bit more.”
