This work illustrates the structural essence of fibre and fabric, uniquely combined through the processes of felting and embroidery. In this work, Jessica engages with the haptic quality of textiles and explores the personal interaction that is shared with cloth. The integration of textiles in our everyday lives has inspired Jessica to consider textiles, not from a utilitarian or decorative perspective, but as a functioning structural form where different fibres respond to one another.
