Graduate Exhibition

Jessica Skinner works with a range of textile processes and mediums to conceptualise natural and urban environments. Jessica illustrates the materiality and structural differences of these environments through a variety of textile processes. Our everyday association to cloth as a utilitarian material has become a prominent aspect of Jessica's work as she investigates new ways to represent textile forms and the unique structural qualities of these materials. Jessica has linked everyday environments with everyday materials through the practice of felting, weaving and fabric manipulation.
