Tallulah Rose is a cross-disciplinary artist seeking to physicalise the psyche through an embodied practice. Her work utilises performance, video and drawing to reject homogenous modes of language and create a space for communicating complex cognitive states through the body. Drawing on her personal experiences of bi-polar disorder, and utilising intuitive body knowledge, Tallulah highlights the complexity of human emotion. By engaging with the vulnerability performance offers, she connects with audiences through a shared emotionality, an exchange of energy and understanding. Tallulah believes that the body craves movement, and as it moves it becomes the outward projection of the psyche.
