Red Forest
On the night of 26th April, 1986, a small town in the Ukraine would forever become the symbol of nuclear disaster. 30 years have passed and the memory of Chernobyl has remained, though shrouded by fiction, myths and folklore. ‘Red Forest’ investigates the long standing effects of the explosion as well as attempt to elucidate the inaccurate portrayals of the city through an exploration of ancient and vernacular Slavic folklore.
