Graduate Exhibition

Maggie proposed 'The Bend' as part of the 'Social Change' textiles course in 2016. This project was designed as an initiative to teach female refugees practical textiles skills, providing them with a regular social event to further language skills as well as establishing a platform to generate income through the selling of handmade homewares. This cushion was one of several prototype designs for the initiative.
