Through this body of work, Helena Todd uses illustration as a means to portray speculative ideas about what our planet and the organisms living on it could potentially be like in the future. Drawing on information from previous evolutionary paths as well as observing present impacts upon ecosystems, Helena paints a series of creatures that comprise a hypothetical future earth.
