Declan East is interested in the representation of loss, separation and transition in film. Through the use of visual effects, illustration and live action footage, Declan attempts to reconstruct the mental world of an individual dealing with separation in a relationship. The film endeavours to cultivate a deeper understanding of the connection between person, place and object at a time in which communication and interactions mostly occur digitally.
