'Future Wardrobes' is intended to promote and educate audiences on sustainable fashion by exploring sustainable wardrobes. Amelia Coutts has created a website to explore the sustainable wardrobes of a range of millennials through interviews and photo profiles. The project aims to illustrate how an individual may build a sustainable wardrobe that is affordable and mindfully curated, yet still celebrates fashion. This project has been developed in response to the impacts of 'fast fashion' on the environment and industry workers. The project aims to offer an alternative to fast fashion through the promotion of sustainable shopping via second hand, vintage, consignment, renting and sustainable fashion brands.
